Born in Longmeadow, Massachusetts, 1958
Lives and works in Cambridge, Massachusetts
Studied at Rhode Island School of Design, Providence (B.F.A., 1981)
For the past twenty years I have been making paintings, prints, and more
recently, digital animations that explore the relationship between authentic
and mediated experience in contemporary image making. I have not sought to cohere
my work through style but through the above inquiry. In my lithograph, I attempt
to find a new pictorial and psychological space by locating it at an intersection
between botanical illustrations, things-to-do lists, phone message pads, and
diaries.
