$550 per year - A Great Way to Support Tamarind! The Collectors
Club was founded to help support Tamarind's educational programs. Although
we are a division of the College of Fine Arts of the University of New
Mexico, we receive only partial funding from the University. Many of our
special projects are possible only through the generosity of our Collectors
Club. Annual membership dues are used primarily for scholarships and occasionally
for symposia, publications, and other special projects.
Besides supporting
Tamarind, Collectors Club members recieve a 20% discount on most print
purchases, and each year receive a lithograph by an important contemporary
artist. In addition, only Collectors Club members are eligible to purchase previous years' prints, when available for $850. Contact us for a list of previous club prints that are still available for purchase.
HOW IT WORKS: The Collector's Club opens in the spring when we send the previous year's members a renewal letter. Previous members have until mid-spring to renew their memberships. After this date, all spots are open to anyone who wishes to join. You can purchase or renew your membership by phone, email or mail. Provide billing and shipping addresses (Please note, we ship our prints UPS Ground, and therefore cannot ship to PO boxes. If you would like to make other arrangements, please let us know.) You will receive a thank you confirmation letter containing your print number, payment information/ receipt and your shipping address. In the fall we will send out a letter to members announcing who the artist is for that year's print, along with a short bio about the artist's career. Two weeks later your print is in the mail! (Or if you live in the Albuquerque or Santa Fe area it is available for pick-up) Please print the membership form and return it with your check (payable to: The Tamarind Institute). Or, you can call - we accept VISA or MasterCard. Printer Friendly Form.
