Tamarind is located a few miles from downtown Albuquerque, just south of the University of New Mexico campus. We are in the middle of the first block south of Central Avenue, on the east side of the street. Watch for the Frontier Restaurant, with a yellow roof and large red sign, on the corner of Cornell and Central.


From the airport (approximately 5 minutes):

Take Yale or Girard north to Central Avenue:
from Girard, turn left on Central, left on Cornell;
from Yale, turn right on Central, right on Cornell.

From I-25:

Take Martin Luther King exit (first exit south of I-40 intersection), go through the first light after getting off at the exit, and turn left at the second light - Central Ave., go east (toward the mountains) on Central, right on Cornell at the Frontier Restaurant - look for their yellow roof (approximately 6 blocks east of University and Central).

From I-40:

Take Carlisle exit, go south on Carlisle approximately one mile to Central Avenue. Turn right on Central, left on Cornell at the Frontier Restaurant.
