Aluminum Plate Lithography workshop
4-week summer workshop info

Tamarind Institute offers a four-week
workshop for teachers and students of lithography in techniques for successful
printing with aluminum plates. This course includes the theory and chemistry
of plate lithography, drawing techniques and materials, processing, and
printing. Color theory and multiple runs will also be reviewed. Although
the emphasis will be on aluminum plates, stones will also be available.

$1500 (plus University of New Mexico tuition, approximately $900 for those who wish to enroll for credit).*** |

housing
$47/ night (subject to change) Apartment style housing, located on the University of New Mexico campus, a five-minute walk from the Tamarind studio. Each apartment has five separate bedrooms, communal kitchen and living areas, and two bathrooms. Apartments are shared with other Tamarind workshop students. These rooms may be reserved in advance for the workshop dates. |
