The interspersion of the seemingly disparate aspects of the micro and macro figure predominantly in this work. My longtime fascination with the union of these two opposing elements and the idea of their simultaneous interaction has been the basic core of my interest and visual examination. The images are primarily derived from science and nature: physics, astronomy and chemistry. They are all intermixed–balancing, floating, and interacting with those basic forms in the everyday world. I see this activity as a metaphor perhaps for a gigantic juggling act.
