Jaime Palacios is a Chilean painter/printmaker currently based in upstate New York. His reoccurring figurative imagery reveals a sensibility for baroque narratives and a magical interpretation of the body. His project with Tamarind in the mid-1990s marks a period of great international collaboration for the workshop, bringing many artists to New Mexico to explore the possibilities of lithography. He ultimately collaborated with other Tamarind-trained printers, and the work created with Deb Chaney Editions was recently included in the celebrated Pulled in Brooklyn exhibition in 2019.
