Tamarind seeks a Gallery Manager to oversee and coordinate the business operations of the gallery. The scope includes the physical gallery and the various online sales platforms (Artsy, Instagram, Tamarind website e-commerce activity). The Gallery Manager develops, implements, and evaluates marketing and presentation strategies for new releases, Tamarind editions, national art fairs, and regional pop-up exhibitions. Maintains a strong working knowledge of Tamarind inventory and contemporary artists who collaborate with the workshop. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in contemporary art and able to engage audiences around contemporary prints and collecting.
